English. 130 min A political thriller advancing the theory that it was in fact Edward De Vere, Earl of Oxford who penned Shakespeare's plays; set against the backdrop of the succession of Queen Elizabeth I, and the Essex Rebellion against her. TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY - March 7 UK/France [R] Drama/Mystery/Thriller. English. 127 min During the Cold War, an espionage veteran is forced from semi-retirement to uncover a Soviet agent within MI6's echelons. Stars: Gary Oldman (Oscar nominated for Actor in a Leading Role) and Colin Firth. 
MONSIEUR LAZHAR - March 14 Canada [PG-13] Comedy/Drama. French (subtitled). 94 min An Algerian immigrant is hired to replace an elementary school teacher who died tragically. The film follows a humble man who is ready to transcend his own loss in order to accompany children beyond the silence and taboo of death (Oscar nominated for Foreign Language Film) Stars: Mohamed Fellag and Sophie Nélisse. 
A DANGEROUS METHOD - March 21 UK/Germany/Canada [R] Biography/Drama/Thriller. English. 99 min A historical film based on the turbulent relationships between Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud, and Sabina Spielrein, a patient of Jung, and later a physician and one of the first female psychoanalysts. Stars: Michael Fassbender, Keira Knightley and Viggo Mortensen. 
LE HAVRE - March 28 Finland [14A] Comedy/Drama. French (subtitled). 93 min An elderly working-class couple find themselves harbouring a young African illegal immigrant. As a tenacious local police inspector becomes suspicious, a cat-and-mouse game ensues. Stars: André Wilms, Blondin Miguel and Jean-Pierre Darroussin. 
THE IRON LADY - April 4 UK [PG-13] Biography/Drama. English. 105 min A look at the life of Margaret Thatcher, the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, with a focus on the price she paid for power. Stars: Meryl Streep (Oscar nominated for Actress in a Leading Role), Jim Broadbent, and Roger Allam.
