BOOTH SPACES

SIZE: Ten (10) foot frontage (wide) x eight (8) feet deep
You are not permitted to extend your display beyond these perimeters.

SHOW IN MOTION, a professional display company, sets up the booths with curtained backwalls and side wings. These are on aluminum runners and are fabric only. Remember that only a curtain separates you from the crafter behind you in the next aisle! Also, the lighting provided is directed from the front of the booth inward. The accompanying sketch shows these features.

Curtain colour is a forest green. The display company requests that you do not pin or hang items from the curtain material. You can use S-hooks to hang your own lightweight rod and curtain or a coroplast or vinyl sign from the top of the backdrop. If signs are more substanially constructed (for example, wood), or you wish to hang product, please be advised that you will have to supply suitable and secure display stands, such as lattice or shelving, to showcase your product.

LIGHTING

  • Two lights will be turned towards each booth. These lights are intended to provide general market lighting and will provide some illumination for your booth as well.
  • You are responsible for adequately lighting your booth. This is NOT an option, all booths must be adequately lit.  One electrical outlet per booth will be provided. Outlets are to be used for lighting only UNLESS PREVIOUSLY APPROVED BY STAFF.
  • PLEASE BRING EXTENSION CORDS - we cannot supply these to you.

TABLES

All tables must be covered and skirted.
Please request additional tables in advance - we may not have extra ones available at set-up

BOOTH NUMBERS

Numbers must be visibly displayed and will be affixed to your booth when you arrive. This will help us direct market-goers to you and assist booth sitters who will come to relieve you for breaks!

Be creative! The appearance of your booth and the market influences response and sales volume!

Please be advised that under no circumstances is it acceptable that crafters pack up and leave the market prior to the closing day and time. Such an action would result in disqualification from future markets.

VOLUNTEERS

We will have some volunteers available for booth-sitting so you can take a short rest or dinner break. Please sign up for this service at the Arts Council booth at the market.
